Whistling for CJ

Whistling for CJ

It’s a beautiful day here at Chimps Inc. and all of the chimps are outside enjoying the clear skies.  However, it is a bit chilly.  The cold weather doesn’t seem to bother CJ as long as she has some blankets to bundle up in.  As I admire CJ cuddled up in a heap of blankets in the back of the front enclosure, I start to whistle a merry tune and she does something unexpected.  CJ grabs all of the blankets surrounding her and swings over to the front of the enclosure where I am standing.  She regroups the blankets and fashions them around herself like a robe.  I am flattered that she came closer to hear me whistle.  I then decided to change up the tune a bit and dance to the hokey pokey.  CJ seems to be mesmerized by my silly dancing.  I change the tune once again and CJ starts to spit at me.  I guess she wasn’t very fond of that tune.  As I step back from her spitting range, she gathers her blankets up and swings back over to the back of the enclosure where she bundles up once again and falls asleep.  Enough whistling for today it seems!
