Volunteer ProgramChimps Incorporated is dedicated to
furthering chimpanzee conservation through education. Our private
sanctuary is home to eight chimpanzees and two Siberian lynx.
Chimps Inc. offers a safe haven for chimpanzees who
have come from a variety of situations: roadside zoos, entertainment, others are
former pets. All of the animals here have experienced suffering from their
time with humans. We ask that if you are considering being part of our
volunteer or internship program to bring sincere dedication and commitment to
chimps Inc. and the the residents that live here.
The volunteer program is open to adults 18 years old and above. Volunteers are responsible to commit a minimum of four hours per week. Volunteer duties vary from cleaning after the animal and humans, to the maintenance of the facility. For more information and downloadable
