About Thiele

Growing up with her full sister Patti, Thiele was born at Marine World in Vallejo, California, on July 14, 1986.  Throughout her childhood, Thiele performed to the laughter an amusement of the public. Now fully grown, Thiele finds herself in retirement at Chimps, Inc.  She arrived here with her sister Maggie in August of 2005.  

Despite a separation of nine years, Patti immediately recognized her sister from the moment Theile arrived.  Since then, the sisters have reformed a close bond, spending most of their nights in the same enclosure and rushing to each other's side if needed. 

With her usual calm and collective disposition, Thiele has become good friends with Topo, and the two can frequently be seen sleeping together on the same platform.  In addition, she has established herself as a surrogate mother to little Emma and the two are never far apart.  They truly act like family and these bonds help the whole group remain stable.
