Internship ProgramChimps Incorporated is dedicated to
furthering chimpanzee conservation through education. Our private
sanctuary is home to eight chimpanzees and two Siberian lynx.
Chimps Inc. offers a safe haven for chimpanzees who
have come from a variety of situations: roadside zoos, entertainment, others are
former pets. All of the animals here have experienced suffering from their
time with humans. We ask that if you are considering being part of our
volunteer or internship program to bring sincere dedication and commitment to
Chimps Inc. and the the residents that live here.
Internship Program
Our internship program is open to people
who are seriously interested in pursuing careers in animal care, conservation,
education, or advocacy. Interns will be immersed in daily activities on
nonprofit sanctuary life. Interns assist with daily animal husbandry,
facility clean up, maintenance, administrative tasks and special intern
