Ales for Apes: African Rhythms
Let your senses explore the captivating cadence and visual poetry of West African drum and dance.
On April 7th, join us at Broken Top Bottle Shop to experience a beguiling and beautiful art form right here in town. Fe Fanyi, Bend’s West African drum and dance ambassadors, will be on hand to get your feet a-tappin’ and your hips a-shakin’. This is your night to get into the rhythmic spirit with the performance artists who represented Central Oregon on TEDx!
Also featured will be an array of raffle gift baskets with prizes donated by members of our creative and generous community, including Tumalo Creek Kayak and Canoe, Mountain Air Trampoline Park, and Wren and Wild Aerial Yoga (to name just a few!). You can also try your hand at primate trivia (complete with prizes!), or sample regional flavors with West African inspired dishes created by Broken Top’s talented culinary team.
Mark your calendars for Friday, April 7th! We’ll see you at 7:00 p.m. at Broken Top Bottle Shop!
